Electrical and Field Application Engineer

What You Will Do

  • Electrical / Field Application Engineer for Vehicle Sensing Solution Japan to support the design of automotive sensors.
  • Lead technical communication with automotive customers.
  • Coordinate globally with Molex engineering functions in North America and India.
  • Create technical documents for design and testing reviews and support in other technical related items.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to develop proposals for new products and solutions.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in electronics modules or component development in automotive industry
  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Design skill : LTspice or equivalent, Microsoft office software
  • Presentation skill to explain logically and simply.
  • Self-starter. Lead projects proactively and challenge to illuminate barriers.
  • Teamwork. Create good relationship with team with respect
  • Ability for domestic/oversea business trip (US/China/India)
  • Japanese: Fluent level
  • English: Business level


What Will Put You Ahead

  • 5+ years of electrical engineering experience for automotive
  • Product design experience in Automotive Sensors
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent science degree
  • Experience in working with Japanese Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier
  • Design skill: Working knowledge of Altium, or equivalent PCB design software.
  • Engineering skill : EMC/EMI, FMEA, DRBFM
