Job Description

Join a team developing advanced technologies that support critical national security missions. We're seeking an experienced Digital Engineer with a passion for FPGA design and digital hardware development to help create next-generation communication and embedded systems used in highly demanding environments.

In this role, you'll design, develop, integrate, and test FPGA-based solutions using VHDL while collaborating with systems, hardware, software, and integration teams throughout the full engineering lifecycle. This is an opportunity to work on complex, mission-driven projects where your work directly contributes to innovative technologies that make a real-world impact.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Design and develop FPGA firmware using VHDL
  • Support integration, testing, and verification of complex digital systems
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout development
  • Analyze system requirements and resolve functional, performance, and timing challenges
  • Develop and verify digital designs for high-performance embedded communication systems

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline
  • 5+ years of hands-on FPGA development experience
  • Strong experience designing with VHDL
  • Experience with FPGA development tools such as Vivado, Quartus, or similar
  • Knowledge of communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, PCIe, or Ethernet
  • Ability to obtain and maintain work on classified programs (Active Secret Clearance required to start)

Preferred Experience:

  • AMD/Xilinx FPGA families (Zynq, Kintex, UltraScale, Versal)
  • VHDL verification methodologies such as OSVVM
  • Hardware debugging using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
  • Experience supporting defense, aerospace, or other mission-critical embedded systems

Why This Opportunity?

  • Work on advanced technologies that push the boundaries of digital engineering.
  • Collaborate with highly skilled engineering teams solving complex technical challenges.
  • Contribute to programs that have a meaningful impact on national security.
  • Long-term, full-time contract opportunity with a highly respected organization in the defense industry.

If you're an FPGA engineer looking to work on challenging projects with cutting-edge technology, we'd love to connect. A
