FromĀ optimizingĀ our core trading engine to building custom hardware, weĀ leverageĀ software & hardware engineering, dataĀ scienceĀ and research, to deliver the infrastructure and tools that drive our trading and business needs.Ā

What you will do:Ā Ā 

We’reĀ looking for brilliant engineering talent to join our FPGA team that is building next-generation, ultra-low-latency systems to power trading with machine learning and other algorithms on a global scale.Ā Ā  You’llĀ work alongside a small team of experienced engineers who came to Jump from leading companies in FPGAs, semiconductors, networking cards, and more. Ā This is an opportunity to work on complex problems around networking, high performance computing, and real-time acceleration where weĀ can'tĀ just use off-the-shelf hardware. Other duties as assigned or needed.Ā Ā Ā 

Skills you will need:

  • Undergraduate or Graduate concentration in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related areasĀ Ā Ā 
  • Experience with FPGA or other hardware/systems design and developmentĀ Ā 
  • Experience with RTL (SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL)Ā Ā Ā 
  • PreviousĀ internship experience in hardware or low-level software engineeringĀ Ā 
  • Experience with C, C++, or PythonĀ Ā 
  • Passion for solving complex problems and ability to draw upon knowledge and experience from a variety of technical areas to produce extremely high-performance solutionsĀ Ā 
  • Reliable and predictable availabilityĀ Ā

  • Claude CodeĀ Ā

  • HLS or OpenCLĀ Ā Ā 
  • Any programming close to the metal with CPU, GPU, microprocessors, etc.Ā Ā

  • Raspberry Pi or ArduinoĀ Ā Ā
