Designation: Assistant Manager-Firmware

Location: Pune

Experience: 12 to 15 Years

Budget: 15 LPA


NOTE: Experience leading a team of 3–5 embedded software engineers.


• Experience in Motor drives, Traction inverters, Solar Invertor, DC-DC Converters, On-board Chargers (OBC), UPS sector

Strong expertise in Embedded C and C++ programming.

Excellent understanding of Microcontroller Architecture and low-level embedded programming.

• Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), multitasking, synchronization mechanisms, interrupts, timers, and event-driven software architecture.

• Hands-on experience in firmware architecture, device drivers, middleware, bootloaders, BSP development, and hardware abstraction layers.

• Strong debugging skills using JTAG, Lauterbach, Trace32, debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.

• Good understanding of embedded software life cycle including design, coding, integration, testing, release, and maintenance.

• Experience in software optimization for performance, memory utilization, and execution time.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills Technical Skills

12–15 years of experience in Embedded Software Development.

• Hands-on experience with one or more of: Infineon AURIX (TC2xx/TC3xx), Tricodre, STM32, Texas Instruments C2000, Renesas.

• Experience in: Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL), Embedded Middleware, Interrupt Handling, Peripheral Driver Development, Memory Management, Device Driver Development.

• Experience with: HighTec, TASKING, STM32CubeIDE, Eclipse IDE.

• Automotive experience (Preferred):

• Experience in one or more of: AUTOSAR (Classic Platform), MCAL, Complex Device Drivers (CDD), Functional Safety awareness (ISO 26262), Automotive Cybersecurity awareness (ISO 21434)

• Experience leading a team of 3–5 embedded software engineers.

• Ability to independently own software development activities.


• Ability to mentor junior engineers. Job Role & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop embedded firmware using C/C++ for automotive and industrial power electronics products.

• Define software architecture and module decomposition based on system requirements.

• Lead firmware development activities from requirement analysis to product release.

• Review software requirements and ensure complete technical feasibility.

• Break down complex firmware requirements into manageable development tasks and allocate work to team members.

• Lead software architecture discussions and technical decision-making.

• Develop reusable software components and maintain coding standards.

• Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with software quality guidelines.

• Integrate firmware modules and support system-level integration.

• Develop low-level drivers, middleware, communication stacks, and application software.

• Collaborate with hardware teams for board bring-up, debugging, and validation.

• Analyze and resolve complex firmware issues during development and production.

• Ensure software documentation is complete and maintained throughout the development lifecycle.

• Support customer issue analysis and root cause investigation.

• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the development team.

• Drive continuous improvement in software quality, development processes, and engineering best practices.
