About Position

We are looking for a highly experienced Android Framework Engineer with deep expertise in Android OS internals and embedded system development. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in customizing Android platform components, working across OS layers, and enabling integration on hardware platforms.

What You'll Do

• You will work on advanced Android platform development involving system-level customization and hardware integration.
• Design and develop Android framework components and system services
• Customize Android framework layers such as Location Provider, Content Provider, Network Provider, etc.
• Modify Android OS layers including HAL, Binder, and system services
• Work on Android platform internals and contribute to AOSP-based development
• Perform integration and porting of Android framework on new hardware platforms
• Develop and optimize embedded solutions interacting with hardware components
• Debug complex system-level issues using tools such as Android Studio and DDMS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and performance optimization
• Stay updated with latest Android framework changes, tools, and libraries
  
  

Expertise You'll Bring

• You bring deep technical expertise in Android internals, embedded systems, and low-level system programming.
• Strong understanding of Android Framework Internals and AOSP architecture
• Hands-on experience in Android Framework development and customization
• Expertise in Java/Kotlin programming for Android systems
• Experience working with Android SDK, NDK, JNI, and C/C++
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems and hardware interaction
• Experience with Android platform tools and development lifecycle
• Proven experience in porting and integrating Android framework on hardware platforms
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills for system-level issues
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems and OS fundamentals
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electronics, or related field
