Job Description

VMIC (Vietnam Microchip Innovation Center) is a member unit of MITAS Corporation.

VMIC is a pioneering center in the training and design of Analog, Mixed-Signal, and RF ICs, with a strong focus on next-generation technology applications. We have core strengths in circuit blocks such as LDOs, DC-DC converters, precision power management circuits, sensor interfaces, and wireless solutions, serving sectors including mobile devices, electric vehicles, renewable energy, telecommunications, and industrial applications.

Our young and dynamic engineering team works closely with experienced experts in system architecture and chip development, creating an environment that combines speed, creativity, and deep technical expertise.

We pursue high-performance, low-noise, and high-reliability designs, with a complete development process from specification to tapeout and silicon validation. At the same time, we are committed to contributing to the sustainable growth of Vietnam’s semiconductor ecosystem.

Our core values are: “Dedication – Trust – Intelligence – Humanity.” VMIC people carry a warrior spirit: resilient, unafraid of challenges, and always ready to take on the most demanding missions.

🌟 We are looking for Analog Designers who can:

  • Design and simulate analogue building blocks such as op-amps, bandgap references, LDOs, bias circuits, and related IP.
  • Perform transistor-level design, characterization, optimization, and corner/Monte-Carlo analysis.
  • Work closely with layout engineers for floor planning, matching strategy, parasitic optimization, and layout review.
  • Support full-chip integration and tape out flows, including DRC/LVS and sign-off procedures.
  • Conduct lab bring-up and characterization of new silicon using oscilloscopes, SMUs, VNAs (if applicable), and automated test setups.
  • Prepare design documentation: specifications, test plans, reports, and design reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital, verification, and test engineering.

🌟 Requirements

Minimum 2-4+ years of hands-on analogue IC design experience in one of the following areas :

  • Bachelor's/ Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience designing op-amps, bandgap references, LDOs, and analogue bias/reference circuits
  • Strong CMOS analogue design fundamentals: stability, noise, matching, compensation, and physics
  • Experience using commercial EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso / Spectre, Synopsys Custom Designer, Mentor/Siemens tools, etc.
  • Familiarity with full design and tape out flows: schematic → simulation → layout → extraction → verification → tape out
  • Strong lab skills and experience with silicon bring-up and debugging

Preferred Experience with power management ICs, low-power design, or DC-DC regulators

  • Programming or scripting skills (Python/MATLAB/Octave/C) for automation and data analysis
  • Experience with automation of test setups or writing lab scripts
  • Familiarity with mixed-signal design or verification

🌟 What We Offer

  • Competitive salary, plus 13th-month salary and performance-based bonus
  • Annual medical check-up at a designated hospital
  • Exciting Employee Events: Participate in fun activities throughout the year, such as team birthdays, sports teams (pickleball…), company trips, year-end party, and more
  • Continuous training courses with excellent experts from other countries to enhance skills & knowledge

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status.
