As an Advanced Embedded Engineer here at Honeywell, you will lead the design and development of sophisticated embedded software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and reliable products. You will apply your deep technical expertise to influence architecture decisions and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Refine the voice of the customer to ensure product alignment with market needs.
  • Select candidate hardware and firmware technologies suitable for development projects.
  • Implement short-cycle feasibility projects aimed at mitigating technical risks.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Serve as the primary contact for the innovation hub within the HTS Mexico City design center.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in firmware development or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware and firmware technologies.
  • Experience in implementing feasibility projects and managing technical risks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages relevant to firmware development.
  • Familiarity with development tools and methodologies specific to firmware engineering.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in the Fire and Life Safety Systems industry is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
