Role Description

TSMC is seeking an ASIC Verification Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Canada to work on next generation 3D-IC projects. In this role, you will be responsible for creating verification plans, developing test environments, writing and debugging test cases, and ensuring the quality and integrity of ASIC designs. You will also analyze functional and performance requirements, collaborate with design, architecture, and software engineering teams, and provide technical support throughout the verification cycle.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in verification methodologies such as SystemVerilog or UVM, and hands-on experience with simulation tools
  • Strong ability to write, debug, and optimize test cases for ASIC design verification
  • Experience in RTL coding and design knowledge in Verilog or VHDL
  • Solid understanding of digital design, hardware protocols, and ASIC design flows
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Perl to automate verification tasks
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Minimum Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering
  • Experience with low power design verification, formal verification, or performance/power modeling is a plus
