Description
As a member of the system software architecture team working on visionOS platforms at Apple, you will be responsible for driving the power architecture across the stack and be expected to lead collaborations across organizations to achieve the best tradeoff between power and performance.
Minimum Qualifications
BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering and/or equivalent experience/skillsnAt least 4 years of relevant experiencenStrong knowledge of operating systems fundamentals and embedded systemsnIn-depth knowledge of C/C++nFamiliarity with embedded power managementnStrong analytical and debugging skillsnExperienced in driving design decisions using a data driven approach
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of low power SOC architectures and HW/SW co-design for power optimizationnExperience in tuning algorithms and software across the stack to meet sustained and peak power constraintsnComfortable working with cross-functional HW teams on reviewing schematics and SOC specificationsnExperience abstracting and building behavioral models of HW/SW interactionsnKnowledge about control systems and optimization techniquesnAbility to work under tight schedules and deliver on time
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.u003cbru003eu003cbru003eApple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
