Job Description

Zoppler Systems is a product-based deep technology company focused on building indigenous advanced systems for defence and real-world mission environments. We work across radar, RF systems, embedded electronics, intelligent sensing, real-time software, and AI-driven platforms to develop high-performance technologies for mission-critical applications.

As an engineering-driven organization, we are committed to building core technologies in-house with a strong focus on innovation, reliability, and practical deployment. Our work offers engineers the opportunity to contribute to technically challenging products with meaningful real-world impact and long-term strategic relevance.

Role: VHDL/Firmware Senior Engineer

We are looking for engineers who are excited to design and implement high-performance FPGA systems, with a strong focus on real-time DSP.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop FPGA firmware using VHDL for high-speed signal processing applications
  • Design and implement DSP algorithms (filters, FFTs, detection, etc.) on FPGA
  • Work with Xilinx tools (Vivado) for design, synthesis, timing closure, and debugging
  • Interface with high-speed ADC/DACs and RF front-end systems
  • Optimize designs for latency, throughput, and resource utilization
  • Collaborate with hardware and RF teams for system integration and validation
  • Participate in bring-up, testing, and performance tuning of FPGA-based systems

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong fundamentals in digital design and computer architecture
  • Hands-on experience with VHDL (or Verilog) and FPGA development
  • Good understanding of DSP concepts (FFT, filtering, sampling theory, fixed-point implementation)
  • Experience with Xilinx Vivado toolchain
  • Familiarity with simulation and debugging tools (ModelSim, Vivado Simulator, ILA, etc.)
  • Understanding of clocking, timing constraints, and CDC (clock domain crossing)
  • Ability to translate algorithms into efficient hardware implementations

Nice to Have

  • Experience with RF systems, SDR, radar, or high-speed data acquisition
  • Familiarity with AXI interfaces and high-speed protocols
  • Experience with HLS (High-Level Synthesis) or MATLAB-to-FPGA workflows
  • Knowledge of embedded processors within FPGA (Zynq, MicroBlaze)
  • Exposure to PCIe, JESD204B/C, or high-speed serial interfaces
  • Exhibits alignment with organizational values, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a strong sense of ownership toward the company’s mission

Why Join Us

  • Be part of a company building advanced indigenous products in strategically important technology domains
  • Work on complex engineering challenges at the intersection of hardware, software, RF, and intelligent systems
  • Contribute to the development of mission-critical technologies designed for real-world deployment
  • Gain broad exposure to deep-tech product development in a high-ownership environment
  • Learn rapidly through hands-on involvement in technically demanding programs
  • Grow with a fast-evolving organization that values capability, execution, and technical leadership
