Job Description

This role is key to ensuring customer success with RealMan’s advanced embodied AI and robotic systems as we scale our "Software-Defined Robot" platform across North America. You will work closely with the sales and engineering teams to handle pre‑sales demos and post‑sales technical issues for our lightweight collaborative robotics, act as the liaison between the customer and other internal teams. This role might travel to customer sites to install and commission our collaborative robots, support sales demos, and keep systems running in top condition.



Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for robotic arm systems used by customers in North America
  • Support pre-sales demonstrations and technical discussions with the sales team
  • Perform installation, commissioning, and configuration of robotic systems at customer sites
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
  • Replace components and perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operation
  • Train customers on robot operation, programming, and best practices
  • Work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot technical issues and provide field feedback


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in robotics, automation, field service, or technical support
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving ability with robotics or industrial equipment
  • Basic programming experience with APIs (C/C++ or Python)
  • Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) is a plus
  • Ability to perform basic electrical testing and system diagnostics
  • Comfortable working in English-speaking customer environments,
  • Willing to travel to customer sites across the U.S. and Canada as needed, and to travel to China for product and technical training
  • Bilingual English-Mandarin


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with collaborative robots (cobots)
  • Experience in robot integration or industrial automation projects
  • Background in Electrical Engineering (EE)
  • Familiarity with robot programming or teaching software
