We are looking for a
System Engineer
to work with advanced aerospace propulsion systems, focusing on
engine control systems and embedded software
. The role involves both
development of future system concepts
and
maintenance and enhancement of existing airborne systems
in a safety-critical environment.
You will be part of a design organization working with complex, high-reliability systems where
quality, structure, and technical rigor
are essential. The assignment includes system-level work as well as deep technical problem solving using
model-based and physics-based methods
.
Scope of work
The role includes, but is not limited to:

Development and troubleshooting of control systems for jet engines

Maintenance and further development of existing models and embedded software
-
Concept development, system architecture, and prototyping of new solutions

Development of models, applications, and scripts to solve physical problems and support engineering workflows
-
Collaboration across multiple projects and disciplines in a structured development environment
Required Qualifications

BSc or MSc in Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
-
Ability to work in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
-
Experience working independently while contributing effectively within a team
Meritorious Experience

Matlab / Simulink
-
Programming experience in C++, Java, and/or Python

Experience with SysML or system modeling

Experience working with airworthy, safety-critical, or regulated products
