Software Firmware Engineer

Job Title: Embedded software engineer (Firmware)

Experience: 1-2 years

Basic Qualification: Minimum qualification of B.E/B.Tech in Electronics/ Electrical (ECE, EEE,etc) /Instrumentation (I&C etc) /Computer Science , M.Sc (Computer Science/Physics/Mathematics/Applied Science) or equivalent from a reputed institution and a minimum of first class.

Domain: Embedded Technology in defense and aerospace

Operating System: Windows or Linux

Process: CMM level 3 or equivalent process ,Agile or equivalent process

Programming:

• Hands on experience in software engineering life cycle especially design and development.
• Good understanding and working knowledge of Windows OS and windows internals.
• Good hands on experience in C,C++, Firmware, device driver development.
• Assembly programming for embedded platform will be added advantage.
• Capability to design device drivers and firmware will be a plus.

Tools:

• Should have good working knowledge on tools process and documentation for all phases of development including including requirements, design , coding and debugging ,testing.
• Good hands on work experience of Windows OS and related development tools ,IDE, debugging, testing etc.

Others: Good experience in client interaction, team playing, good communication and presentation skills.
