Position Summary

As Software Engineering Manager, you lead and support teams developing software and firmware for industrial connectivity solutions and gateways. You drive alignment, remove obstacles, and enable high-quality, on-time delivery through effective leadership, collaboration, and technical oversight.



Essential Job Functions


Team Leadership & Cross-Team coordination

  • Accountable for delivery, quality, cybersecurity, and long-term technical direction of software and firmware across the product portfolio, while leading Development and QA teams.
  • You ensure decisions are made, documented, and fully understood by all teams.
  • You encourage effective communication and alignment across teams.
  • You help remove cross-team blockers and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
  • You facilitate technical discussions across teams and ensure technical requirements are clearly defined.
  • You promote autonomy, accountability, and psychological safety
  • Work on a global team and collaborate with global colleagues


People Management

  • You define objectives for teams and individuals.
  • You maintain a positive, collaborative atmosphere.



Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or another relevant technical domain.
  • Understanding of Linux systems, networking concepts, and industrial protocol contexts.
  • Strong coordination and facilitation skills in multi-team environments.
  • Ability to challenge proposals constructively and drive consensus.
  • Experience with Python or C/C++ development in Linux environments.
  • Working knowledge of industrial PLC protocols



Working Conditions

  • Mostly office-based setting with prolonged periods of sitting



Travel

  • 25%, some international travel; 2 trips per year.
