About Invaris
Invaris is an open-source research initiative focused on emerging technology, quantum computing, software infrastructure, and technical research. The project is designed to create public-facing research, documentation, and open-source materials around advanced computing systems and next-generation technology.
Invaris provides contributors with exposure to research workflows, technical documentation, open-source collaboration, and early-stage project development.
About the Role
Invaris is seeking Research Interns to support an open-source research initiative in a remote-first environment. This role is designed for individuals interested in quantum computing, emerging technology, AI, software, physics, mathematics, engineering, research writing, or open-source projects.
Interns will assist with research, documentation, project organization, and public-facing materials while gaining exposure to technical research and open-source development workflows.
No professional experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Research emerging technology topics, including quantum computing and open-source software
* Summarize technical papers, articles, and research materials
* Assist with organizing documentation, notes, and project resources
* Support open-source project planning and contributor-facing materials
* Help create simple explainers, briefs, and written summaries
* Contribute to research workflows, project structure, and knowledge organization
* Collaborate remotely with team members on research and documentation tasks
