Job Description

Responsible for developing the tools, flows, and automation needed for a state-of-the-art Soc development. Collaborate with designers and SOC project teams from multiple sites to develop new automation tools, design optimization, regression system, web infrastructure, UI and design. Develop and manage multiple automations based on various SW languages and frameworks. Create detailed engineering plans, processes and procedures for engineering staff to use and abide by. Provide support and resolve issues brought forth by the engineering team members.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, foreign equivalent or related field.

Required Skills

Position requires knowledge gained via completion of a graduate-level course, internship or related occupation involving:

  • Software Development, Software Testing;
  • High-fidelity UI prototypes;
  • VLSI Circuit & System;
  • Algorithms & Data Structures;
  • Computer Architecture;
  • Embedded System;
  • Large-Scale Data Mining;
  • RESTFul backend with NodeJS, ExpressJS, and MongoDB Atlas Database;
  • SOC design flow – Verilog/VHDL languages and standard tools used as part of design methodology; and
  • Read/understand HDL code, create simple test benches and identify potential issues in the design.

Offered salary: $119,831 per year

The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles.

Please note that the base salary range (OR hourly rate) is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs. This base pay range is specific to California and is not applicable to other locations. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range as of the date of this posting is:

$113,300 to $155,800 annually
