About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Wi-Fi Software Engineer
to join our Embedded Connectivity team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of next-generation
Wi-Fi drivers, firmware, and embedded networking solutions
powering advanced IoT and wireless connectivity products.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to develop innovative Wi-Fi features, optimize product performance, and enable new silicon platforms from bring-up through production.
Key Responsibilities
-
Design, develop, and maintain
Wi-Fi drivers and firmware
for next-generation IoT wireless products.
-
Develop advanced
IEEE 802.11 MAC layer features
and wireless networking protocols.
-
Build firmware solutions in
RTOS
environments and device drivers for
Linux
platforms.
-
Perform low-level hardware bring-up, debugging, and system integration.
-
Troubleshoot firmware, driver, and connectivity issues across Linux and RTOS platforms.
-
Collaborate with Wi-Fi MAC, Silicon, Systems, and QA teams during pre-silicon validation, chipset bring-up, feature development, and performance optimization.

Participate throughout the complete software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, architecture, implementation, validation, testing, and production releases.

Contribute to continuous improvements in software quality, reliability, and performance.
Required Qualifications

2–6 years of experience in Embedded Software Development.

Strong programming expertise in

Experience developing software for
Embedded Systems
and
Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
.

Strong understanding of
Linux Kernel Programming
and device driver development.

In-depth knowledge of
IEEE 802.11 Wi-Fi protocols
, including:

802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be

Hands-on experience with
Wi-Fi Host Drivers
and
Device Firmware
.

Strong understanding of software architecture and embedded system design.

Experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, and firmware troubleshooting.

Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications
