Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop UHF RFID ICs compliant with EPC Gen2 / ISO 18000-63 standards.
  • Architect, design, and optimize RF, analog, mixed-signal, and digital blocks for RFID tags and reader solutions.
  • Design critical circuit blocks such as:
  • RF Front-End Circuits
  • Rectifiers and Energy Harvesting Units
  • Power Management Circuits
  • Voltage Regulators and Bandgap References
  • Oscillators and Clock Generation Circuits
  • Modulators/Demodulators
  • ADCs/DACs
  • Baseband Processing Circuits
  • Perform schematic design, simulation, and verification using industry-standard EDA tools.
  • Drive transistor-level design, corner analysis, Monte Carlo simulations, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with layout teams to ensure successful DRC/LVS closure and post-layout verification.
  • Participate in silicon bring-up, characterization, debugging, and production support activities.
  • Work closely with digital, firmware, test, and product engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design reviews and technical decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, VLSI Design, Microelectronics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in RF IC, Analog/Mixed-Signal IC, or RFID IC Design.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • UHF RFID Systems and Protocols
  • RF Circuit Design
  • Analog and Mixed-Signal Design Techniques

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing passive and battery-assisted UHF RFID tag ICs.
  • Knowledge of NFC, BLE, and other wireless communication technologies.
  • Experience with silicon validation, yield improvement, and production support.
  • Familiarity with ASIC development methodologies.
  • Patent filings or technical publications in RFID, RF, or semiconductor design.
