Sr SW Engineer
About The Role
As part of our AUTOSAR engineering team in Pune, you will own end-to-end software development and delivery for automotive embedded systems. You will work closely with project leads, customers, and cross-functional teams to build robust, standards-compliant software for next-generation vehicle platforms.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, integrate, and deliver complete AUTOSAR software modules to the project team within defined timelines and quality benchmarks.

Analyze and debug customer-reported issues; conduct root-cause analysis and deliver timely, well-documented solutions.

Manage the release engineering process end-to-end, including preparation of software release notes, version documentation, and change logs.

Understand and align input requirements; provide clear technical direction to the team during execution phases.

Perform AUTOSAR stack configuration and integration across BSW (Basic Software) and RTE (Runtime Environment) layers.

Collaborate with systems architects and hardware teams to validate software against functional safety and timing requirements.

Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Support verification and validation activities using approved toolchains (Polyspace, Tessy, CANoe, etc.).
Required Experience
-
3 – 7 years of relevant hands-on industry experience in embedded automotive software.

Demonstrated expertise in AUTOSAR stack development, integration, and configuration (AUTOSAR Classic Platform).

Strong command of Embedded C programming and low-level microcontroller programming.

Solid working knowledge of automotive communication protocols:
-
CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay, UDS/OBD diagnostics

Experience with one or more AUTOSAR toolchains and configurators (detailed below).

Exposure to the full software development lifecycle in an automotive-grade environment (ASPICE / ISO 26262 awareness preferred).

BE / B.Tech or higher in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.

Advanced degrees (ME / M.Tech / MS) in relevant fields are an advantage.
