About The Job
We are looking to include a skilled and motivated senior SoC verification engineer in our team in Nordic's Short-range business unit. In this role you will be involved in the development of our world class, ultra low-energy BLE products in an engaging and collaborative work environment.
As a part of our team you will contribute directly to securing the quality of Nordic's SoC-based products using state-of-the-art verification tools and methodologies.
We verify primarily using digital simulators and our responsibilities include development and maintenance of the System Verilog (SV) testbench and related infrastructure. The workflow also includes creating a verification plan based on the product specification documents and reaching coverage closure by developing and debugging testcases.

Key Responsibilities

Functional verification of SoCs prior to tape-out

Development and maintenance of testbenches and testbench infrastructure for SoC-level / chip-level verification

Development, debugging and maintenance of embedded C code and SV testcases

Definition of verification requirements in verification plans based on specification documents

Reaching coverage closure
Key Qualifications
-
Master's degree in electrical engineering or similar studies, or bachelor's degree in combination with relevant experience

Solid experience and interest in verification of digital design

Specific verification and related qualifications:
-
Expert knowledge of SystemVerilog: assertions, constraints, coverage and object-oriented constructs

Knowledge of SystemVerilog for design

Knowledge of and interest in debugging and problem-solving

Strong knowledge of verification planning, verification metrics, coverage closure

Strong programming and scripting skills

Fluency in English language, both written and spoken
