Senior Robotics Engineer

About The Role

In this role, you will work on digital twins, simulation, and optimization of complex processes, contributing to both rapid prototyping and production-ready implementations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, test, and deploy robotics solutions in both simulated and real-world environments. Your focus will be on innovation, performance optimization, and applying modern robotics approaches. This is an opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end development in a dynamic and technically challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with digital twins of real systems
• Lead process modeling and optimization efforts
• Design and develop solutions for diverse robotics systems
• Build rapid prototypes and production-ready solutions
• Test robotics systems in simulation and real-world environments
• Integrate robots with cloud services using AWS RoboMaker
• Design automated robotic systems to improve production efficiency and precision
• Research and apply modern robotics approaches (navigation, sensing, decision-making, system performance optimization)
  
  
  

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software development (C++ or Python)
• Strong experience in modeling continuous, discrete, and event-driven systems
• Hands-on experience with simulation tools (Matlab/Simulink, Mathematica, Modelica)
• Experience with physics-based simulation tools (Gazebo, Nvidia Isaac, V-REP, or similar)
• Solid understanding of numerical methods, concurrent programming, and component-based design
• Proven ability to design and implement complex algorithms
• Knowledge of control theory, estimation, and optimization techniques (linear and nonlinear systems)
• Experience in robotics system development
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux systems
• Understanding of testing practices, CI/CD, and system monitoring
