Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of industry experience in the EV sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, proven management experience, and the ability to lead an engineering team. This role involves troubleshooting, accelerating R&D efforts, enhancing the performance and efficiency of our charging systems, and effectively communicating with OEMs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to wireless EV charging systems.
  • Accelerate research and development efforts to innovate and improve our products.
  • Enhance the performance, efficiency, and reliability of our wireless charging solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
  • Communicate effectively with OEMs and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical requirements and project timelines.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and testing to validate designs and improvements.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in wireless charging technology and EV industry trends.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in design, materials, and processes.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of industry experience in the EV sector.
  • Proven management experience, with the ability to lead and inspire a team of engineers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • In-depth knowledge of EV charging systems, power electronics, control systems and wireless power transfer technologies.
  • Experience with R&D processes and accelerating product development cycles.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to EV charging systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with OEM communication and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of software development and integration for hardware systems.
  • Understanding of thermal management, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and safety standards in EV charging.
