About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced electronic systems for next-generation analytical instrumentation. This role will be responsible for driving electronic hardware development from concept through production, including architecture, schematic design, PCB development, testing, and product release. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electronic system design, PCB development, and cross-functional collaboration within a product development environment.


Key Responsibilities

Electronic Design & Development

  • Design and develop electronic systems for advanced analytical and sensing instruments.
  • Lead hardware architecture development and evaluate design trade-offs across subsystems.
  • Create schematics, perform component selection, and support system integration activities.
  • Develop high-performance electronic assemblies and production-ready PCBAs.
  • Utilize simulation and analysis tools to optimize circuit and system performance.

PCB Design & Product Development

  • Perform end-to-end PCB design including schematic capture, layout review, and design validation.
  • Support prototype builds, testing, debugging, and design verification activities.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth transition from development to production.
  • Contribute to new product development initiatives and enhancements to existing products.

Testing, Validation & Reliability

  • Conduct functional testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of hardware issues.
  • Support product reliability improvements through design reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Analyze system performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Participate in verification, validation, and qualification activities.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical or electronic hardware design.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design principles.
  • Experience with schematic capture, PCB design, and hardware development processes.
  • Familiarity with electronic test equipment and debugging techniques.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Compensation

  • Base Salary: $150,000
  • Potential flexibility for exceptional candidates
