Job Description

Senior Hardware Engineer

Help design the electronics behind TinyMobileRobots’ autonomous robots and play a key role in building the next generation of robot solutions.

Design electronics for advanced robotics

At TinyMobileRobots, you become part of the Mechatronics team in R&D, where you work closely with specialists across electronics and mechanics.

A key part of the role is to design and develop the electronics that power TinyMobileRobots’ autonomous robots, which are used daily by customers to mark sports fields and carry out infrastructure projects. Some of your key tasks will include:

  • designing electronics for robot control and embedded systems, e.g. microcontrollers, motor drivers, sensor interfaces, connectivity and integration of industrial computer boards
  • setting the electronics architecture together with your teammates in the mechatronics team
  • setting validation criteria and ensuring proper validation of designs before release and handover to Operations
  • setting test requirements for production test of electronics designs
  • interacting with Product Management to define and align design specifications
  • participating in the full development process from specification and implementation to testing and release

You will work from TinyMobileRobots’ headquarters in Malling south of Aarhus, with flexibility for occasional work-from-home days. You will join an agile Scrum environment where technical discussions, collaboration and continuous improvements are part of everyday work.

Strong electronics profile with an interest in complex systems

You have experience with professional electronics and hardware development and enjoy building products where electronics interacts directly with software, mechanics and real-world workflows.

You are motivated by solving technical challenges and contributing to products that are used actively by customers in the field. At the same time, you enjoy collaborating closely with other specialists and influencing technical decisions across the development process.

We imagine that you have most of the following:

  • a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronics
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position
  • solid experience with electronics design, including schematic capture and likely also PCB layout
  • experience testing and validating electronics designs
  • experience defining validation criteria for hardware and embedded systems
  • a background in hardware architecture and technical decision-making
  • experience working in agile and Scrum environments (an advantage)

As a person, you are open, pragmatic and solution-oriented. You take ownership of your work, contribute actively with ideas and thrive in an environment where development happens through close collaboration, technical discussions and continuous improvements.

A central role in an ambitious robotics company

At TinyMobileRobots, you get the opportunity to work with electronics and hardware that combine robotics, positioning technologies, mechanics and real-time interaction with physical devices.

You become part of a specialized development environment with:

  • close collaboration across R&D, Operations, and Product Management
  • an agile Scrum environment with room for ideas and technical discussions
  • a flexible and informal workplace with a strong focus on well-being
  • excellent opportunities for both professional and personal development
