Senior Firmware Engineer

Job Overview:

Xinyx Design Services Inc. is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to lead firmware development for cutting-edge products. This role involves designing, implementing, and testing firmware while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop firmware to enable product functionality and ensure efficient performance.
• Create firmware specifications based on product and hardware requirements.
• Define test cases, develop verification plans, and perform debugging.
• Set up and maintain regression testing environments.
• Provide leadership in firmware projects, including mentoring junior engineers.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and applications teams.
• Ensure firmware best practices and customer support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience: 5+ years in firmware development.
• Expertise in firmware development lifecycle and regression testing.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, USB, BLE, NFC, UWB preferred).
• Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ (Rust, Java preferred) and scripting (Perl, Shell, Tcl).
• Familiarity with IDEs (Visual Studio, Eclipse) and version control tools (Subversion)
