Role Summary
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join the world-class software development team in developing cutting-edge Navigation and Integrated Avionics systems. This role involves participating in an enterprise-wide digital transformation utilizing Model-Based Engineering (MBE), DevSecOps, and Agile practices.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and design real-time safety-critical embedded software for advanced Navigation systems.

Translate formal software requirements into robust software designs and architectures.

Perform software and system integration on state-of-the-art hardware.

Develop, verify, and execute comprehensive software tests.

Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams in an Agile development environment.
QualificationsBasic Requirements

Education & Experience:

Principal Level:
STEM Bachelor's + 5 years, Master's + 3 years, or PhD + 1 year of hands-on software development experience.

STEM Bachelor's + 8 years, Master's + 6 years, or PhD + 4 years of hands-on software development experience.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in high-level programming languages (

) and scripting tools (
