Essential Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead software design for C-arm products, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and innovation.
  • Collaborate with system engineers and other software developers to implement solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions
  • Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile, CI, Documentation Practices, Refactoring and Testing Techniques
  • Define and implement software architecture, integrate software components from vendor or other software developers.
  • Own features end-to-end, such as requirement analysis, solution definition, high level design, coding and verification
  • Writes codes that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
  • Understand performance parameters and optimize performance

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation, or related fields.
  • Proficient in C and C++
  • Rich experiences in embedded software development. Experiences and capabilities in embedded platform definition and BSP development.
  • Knowledge of automatic control theory and experiences in control system software design \& development
  • Solid understanding of ARM architecture or other microcontroller platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with CANopen protocol and industrial communication systems.
  • Experience in motor control (PWM, PID, encoder feedback, etc.).
  • Familiarity with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Vxworks) or bare-metal development.
  • Sound software engineering foundation with good practices
  • Experienced in requirement analyses, unit testing
  • Good at object-oriented analysis and design, familiar with UML
  • Experienced in Design Patterns as plus
  • Experienced in Linux programming as a plus
  • Experienced in agile as plus
