Job Description

Senior Embedded ML Engineer (C++ ) On-site | United States | Full-time

About the Opportunity

We are a publicly traded semiconductor company at the forefront of edge AI, building processor technology that brings intelligence directly to devices where power, latency, and privacy matter most. Our work sits at one of the most consequential frontiers in computing today: making AI run efficiently outside the data center.

We are hiring a Senior Full-Stack Embedded Engineer for a rare kind of role. Instead of owning one narrow slice, you will work across the full stack, from embedded systems to the ML compiler and runtime, on a next-generation program that will define our future product line. Your code ships in silicon-adjacent production software, not slideware. You will report to the Manager of Software Engineering and have real autonomy from design through delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and ship production embedded and systems software in C++ and Python
  • Contribute across the ML compiler and runtime stack (MLIR/LLVM) and support bring-up of new models on novel hardware
  • Drive assigned tasks independently from design through delivery, with high ownership and visibility
  • Own build, test, and CI workflows (CMake, Make, Git)
  • Collaborate with hardware, product management, and engineering teams across the U.S., Europe, and India
  • What You Bring

    • 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
    • Expert-level C++ and Python
    • Proficiency with CMake, Make, and Git
    • Embedded and systems software experience, including memory-constrained environments and the hardware-software boundary
    • Machine learning and/or compiler experience; MLIR/LLVM a plus
    • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly

    Why This Role

    Very few engineers get to work at the intersection of embedded systems, compilers, and machine learning on hardware that is genuinely new. This is deep technical work with a small, senior team where your contributions are visible in the product, not buried in a large org chart.
