Senior Embedded Engineer

Company Description: GallerIndia (LMD Hitech India Pvt Ltd) is a 30-year-old electronics & engineering manufacturer of smart energy meters, RTUs, IoT devices, power electronics, and BMS serving customers like BSNL, Jio, Reliance, L&T, and Indus Infra. We're growing our R&D and looking for a senior engineer who can own product development end-to-end, from circuit to firmware to working product.

This is a hands-on senior role with real ownership; you'll lead the technical design of our products and mentor a young engineering team.

Role Description

• Full-cycle embedded product development, concept → schematic → PCB → firmware → testing → production

• Hardware design - schematic capture, multi-layer PCB, component selection, design for manufacturing

• Firmware - embedded C/C++ on ARM/STM32 (or similar), RTOS, communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, Modbus, CAN), wireless (BLE/Wi-Fi)

• Power electronics - SMPS, DC-DC/AC-DC, battery management (BMS), power supply design

• Debugging at board and system level; driving products through certification and reliability testing

• Mentoring junior embedded and software engineers, and helping set R&D standards

Qualifications

• 6+ years in embedded product development with genuine depth across hardware and firmware

• Real power-electronics experience (SMPS / power supply / BMS) - not just digital

• Proven track record taking products from concept to mass production

• Strong with Altium/KiCad/Eagle, oscilloscopes, and lab debugging

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics/Electrical/related

• Bonus: IoT, energy metering, telecom, or industrial product experience
