Coulomb Litech is an advanced lithium battery technology company focused on developing Battery Management Systems (BMS), Lithium-ion Battery Packs, Chargers, IoT-enabled Monitoring Systems, and Energy Storage Solutions for Electric Mobility and Industrial Applications.


We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Embedded Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of next-generation battery and embedded systems.


Key Responsibilities -

  • Develop, test, debug, and optimize embedded firmware for Battery Management Systems (BMS), chargers, IoT devices, and control electronics.
  • Work on microcontroller-based embedded systems and implement communication protocols such as CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, and RS485.
  • Develop firmware for battery monitoring, protection logic, contactor control, charger communication, data logging, and IoT connectivity.
  • Support embedded hardware development, board bring-up, testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Debug hardware and firmware issues using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, CAN analyzers, serial terminals, and debugger tools.
  • Integrate sensors, communication ICs, power electronics, displays, IoT modules, and external devices.
  • Support testing, validation, and continuous product improvement activities.
  • Work closely with hardware, firmware, testing, production, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical challenges.


Required Skills -

  • Strong Embedded C programming skills.
  • Experience with microcontroller-based embedded system development.
  • Hands-on experience with CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, and RS485 communication protocols.
  • Understanding of embedded hardware, ADC circuits, sensor interfaces, power supply circuits, relay/contactor drivers, and communication transceivers.
  • Ability to read and understand electronic schematics.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and product validation skills.
  • Familiarity with embedded development tools, debuggers, programmers, serial terminals, CAN tools, and test equipment.


Preferred Skills -

  • Experience in Lithium-ion Batteries, Battery Management Systems (BMS), EV Batteries, Chargers, or Energy Storage Systems (ESS).
  • Understanding of battery parameters such as Cell Voltage, Pack Voltage, Current, Temperature, SOC, SOH, and Charge/Discharge Protection Limits.
  • Hands-on experience with CAN-based systems and vehicle communication networks.
  • Exposure to IoT technologies including GSM, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS modules.
  • Knowledge of PCB design and schematic tools such as KiCad, Altium Designer, Eagle, or OrCAD.
  • Experience with RTOS, Bootloaders, Data Logging, Firmware Upgrade Mechanisms, and Embedded Product Validation.
  • Experience in testing and validation of battery electronics, chargers, control boards, and embedded hardware.


Qualifications -

B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields.


Preference -

Candidates from Battery, EV, BMS, Charger, Power Electronics, IoT, or Energy Storage industries.
