About the Role
We’re seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer to play a key role in the development, improvement, and lifecycle management of our high-reliability industrial and aerospace products.

As a senior member of the engineering team, you will lead the design and development of electronic hardware solutions from concept through to production, ensuring products meet demanding performance, safety, reliability, and cost objectives. You will work closely with systems, software, manufacturing, and commercial teams to deliver innovative products whilst continuously improving existing designs.

About you
You are an experienced Electronics Hardware Engineer with a strong track record of developing complex electronic products within manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, defence, or other high-reliability environments. You combine deep technical expertise with a practical, solutions-focused approach and enjoy taking products from concept through to production.
You possess detailed knowledge across a range of electronics disciplines, including digital, analogue, and power electronics, PCB schematic capture and layout, microcontroller and DSP-based systems, and the design of products that meet demanding safety, reliability, manufacturability, and environmental requirements. You are comfortable working throughout the full product development lifecycle and have experience qualifying and certifying products to relevant EMC and environmental standards such as CE/UKCA, FCC, RoHS, REACH, DO-160, and MIL-STD-461/810.
You understand the importance of balancing technical excellence with commercial objectives and have experience identifying opportunities to improve product performance, manufacturability, and cost. Knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and value engineering principles would be highly advantageous.
You are comfortable communicating with customers, suppliers, and colleagues at all levels, translating complex technical challenges into practical engineering solutions. Experience working within highly regulated or safety-critical industries such as aerospace, defence, or industrial safety systems would be advantageous.
Qualified to degree level in Electronic Engineering, or with equivalent industry experience, you are proactive, self-motivated, and passionate about engineering. You enjoy mentoring others, driving continuous improvement, and delivering innovative, high-quality products that exceed customer expectations and create real value for the business and its customers.
