We work with leading life-saving institutions around the world including emergency services, hospitals, ambulance services, first aid organizations, and educational institutions. Our products help these organizations to save lives every day. We are a dynamic and energetic organization consisting of people from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds. Our goal is to help save one million more lives, every year, by 2030, and to do so sustainably.

About the role

As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will be part of a team developing the next generation embedded platform architecture for our most advanced patient simulator products. You’ll help evolve today’s technology and shape the next generation of life‑saving training solutions.

You will work in a vibrant cross-functional team and collaborate closely with fellow electronic engineers, embedded software engineers, mechanical engineers, designers, and product maPronagers. You will have access to completely new and state-of-the-art electronics labs, maker spaces, mechanical tool shops, 3D-printers, laser cutter and other facilities in the new building we are moving into in August 2026.

Who we envision would fit the role

You are a talented and passionate Senior Electronics Engineer with 5-10+ years of experience developing a mix of analog and digital electronics. • Communication and radio interfaces (CAN, I2C, SPI, USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LE audio)
  • Embedded firmware
  • Designing for EMC compliance and troubleshooting
  • Professional written and spoken English skills
  • Experience with safety regulations, standards and approvals related to electronics designs.

Some of what we can offer you

At Laerdal, you will get the opportunity to learn, develop, and innovate and you will be a part of an international working environment where the possibility to make an impact is endless.

  • An interesting and important job contributing to our mission
