Job Description

You will lead the hardware electronics cycle for a platform integrating electrochemical, optical, and capacitive sensors to monitor biological processes in real-time. This high-impact role involves designing low-signal analog front-ends and mixed-signal PCBs, while coordinating firmware across ESP32 and Linux systems. You’ll be the primary architect shaping the hardware for global pharmaceutical manufacturing lines.

What You Will Do

• Design low-signal analog front-ends and impedance measurement circuits for sensors operating on cell cultures, handling complex electrochemical and amperometric signals.
• Lead the full electronics cycle in Altium Designer, including schematic design, multilayer PCB layout, bring-up, and managing manufacturing with international suppliers.
• Coordinate firmware development on ESP32, STM32, and embedded Linux (Raspberry Pi 5) while defining calibration protocols that ensure measurements make biological sense.
  
  

The ideal candidate

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience shipping product hardware and serious expertise in Altium for mixed-signal, multilayer designs.
• Proven track record of developing sensors from scratch, including experience with impedance analyzers, precision multimeters, and various measurement principles.
• Proficient in bare-metal firmware or RTOS (ESP-IDF, STM32 HAL/LL, or FreeRTOS) and industrial protocols like I²C, SPI, UART, CAN, and MQTT.
