Role Description The Senior Electronic Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dehradun. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing electronic circuits and systems for Sunfox’s healthcare devices, including portable ECG solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include circuit design and validation, component selection, PCB development, prototyping, and conducting functional and reliability testing. The Senior Electronic Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, software, and clinical specialists, to ensure regulatory compliance, safety, and high performance of medical devices. The role also involves troubleshooting hardware issues, refining designs for manufacturability, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to documentation, quality standards, and continuous product improvements.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Electronic Engineering and Electronics, with experience in medical or embedded device development.
• Proficiency in Circuit Design, including analog and digital circuits, PCB design tools, and component selection.
• Background in Electrical Engineering, particularly power management, signal integrity, and safety standards.
• Hands-on experience with Testing of electronic systems, including validation, verification, and debugging using standard lab equipment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with relevant healthcare device standards and regulatory requirements is highly beneficial.
• Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and hardware–software integration is an advantage.
• Ability to document designs clearly, work in interdisciplinary teams, and mentor junior team members.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a detail-oriented and quality-focused approach.
