The Role: Senior Electronic & Control Systems Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronic Engineer specializing in the development, integration, and validation of advanced control systems.

In this pivotal role, you will join the core engineering division and hold full accountability for the flawless performance of electronic systems, controls, and communications architecture across the entire product portfolio. Operating within a highly collaborative and matrixed environment, you will interface continuously with European engineering hubs.

Consequently, this position demands exceptional communication skills, technical autonomy, and a proven track record of thriving within multicultural, cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• System Integration & Control Development: Lead the integration of advanced electronics, sensors, actuators, and controllers into manufactured units, driving the development, programming, and fine-tuning of control loops and systems.
• Firmware Validation & Optimization: Oversee firmware validation, execute rigorous laboratory testing, conduct in-depth behavior analysis, and implement functional optimizations to ensure peak performance.
• Industrial Communications: Implement and support robust industrial communication protocols, with a strong focus on Modbus / BACnet architectures or related (Siemens eg).
• Technical Troubleshooting: Drive root-cause analysis and resolve complex technical anomalies in prototypes and products under development.
• Technical Documentation: Author and maintain high-standard technical documentation, including engineering specifications, comprehensive test reports, and internal standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• International Stakeholder Alignment: Foster continuous, seamless coordination with local teams and European engineering departments to ensure roadmap alignment.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure absolute adherence to design standards, international regulatory frameworks, and internal quality benchmarks.

Requirements & Qualifications (What Will Make You Successful)

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation & Control Systems, Telecommunications, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Industry Experience: Proven track record in the industrial sector, ideally in the HVAC sector or in the development of complex thermal/thermomechanical products.
• Preferred Platforms: Valuable experience with Siemens or Schneider Electric development environments is highly regarded.
• Communication: Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• Enterprise Tools (Highly Valued): * PLM Systems: Teamcenter (Product Lifecycle Management).
• ERP & HR Platforms: Infor M3 and Workday .
• Project Management & Collaboration: Taking into account experience working with Agile frameworks and tools such as Jira and Confluence .
• Testing & QA: Comprehensive experience in hardware/firmware validation, signal analysis, and laboratory equipment management.
• Core Competencies: Strong team-playing mindset within international, multidisciplinary environments, combined with high professional ambition and clear potential for vertical growth within the group.
