Job Description

Electronics Engineer

Location: Knaresborough

Salary: Up to £60,000

Working Pattern: 4-Day Week (Monday–Thursday) – Every Friday Off Available


Are you an Electronics Engineer with a passion for both analogue and digital electronic? Do you have experience within a large volume manufacture environment? Do you enjoy a hands-on role where you can take products from concept through to testing and refinement? If so, this could be an excellent opportunity to join an innovative technology company based near Knaresborough.



Our client is a market-leading designer and developer renowned for producing high-quality, innovative products, they combine cutting-edge technology with exceptional user experience.


This is a varied and technically engaging position, offering the opportunity to work across the full product development lifecycle. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and improving sophisticated electronic systems.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Design, development, and testing of analogue and digital electronic circuits.
  • Creation of test equipment and test jigs to support product development and validation.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting, fault-finding, and system optimisation.
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to develop new products and features.
  • Supporting projects from initial concept through to production.


This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys electronics both professionally and personally—an engineer who loves building, experimenting, and solving technical challenges.


About You

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

  • Strong experience in electronics engineering, including both analogue and digital circuits.
  • Practical experience building, testing, and debugging electronic hardware.
  • A genuine passion for electronics, demonstrated through professional work and/or personal projects.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Any leadership or management experience is desirable.
