Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer with strong experience in regulatory compliance and product certification for electronic hardware products. In this role, you will be responsible for driving certification activities throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring that products meet applicable regulatory requirements and can be successfully launched in global markets.

You will work closely with hardware development teams, external test laboratories, and internal stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into practical design decisions and ensure compliance throughout the development process.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and determine applicable regulatory requirements for new hardware products based on target markets and product specifications.

- Translate certification and compliance requirements into design recommendations for development teams.

- Act as the primary technical contact towards external certification bodies and test laboratories.

- Plan, coordinate, and follow up certification and verification activities.

- Ensure required technical documentation is prepared and maintained.

- Support development projects with expertise in regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

- Monitor changes in international standards and regulations and communicate relevant updates within the organization.

- Drive certification activities from concept phase through product release and manufacturing readiness.

Mandatory Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.

- Proven experience working with regulatory compliance and certification of electronic hardware products.

- Solid knowledge of: EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), RED (Radio Equipment Directive)

, Electrical Safety regulations and standards

- Hands-on experience collaborating with external test houses, certification bodies, and regulatory agencies.

- Experience supporting hardware development projects throughout the product lifecycle.

- Strong ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and product teams.

- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

- Basic Swedish language skills.

- Willingness to travel occasionally when required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Xpedition (schematic and PCB design environment).

- Experience with Windchill or similar PLM systems.

- Knowledge of global product compliance requirements for international markets.

- Experience from networking, communication, security, IoT, or embedded hardware products.

- Familiarity with product development in manufacturing environments.
