Senior Camera BSP / Embedded Linux Consultant (5+ Years plus)
📍 Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

Role Overview
PTechSoft is seeking an experienced Senior Camera BSP engineer to support high-impact embedded projects involving camera sensor bring-up, Linux kernel, and multimedia pipeline integration .
This role is suited for professionals who wants to build career in end-to-end camera stack development from sensor → kernel → ISP → user space in a customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead camera sensor bring-up (MIPI CSI-2) on embedded platforms
- Configure device tree, I2C communication, and GPIO interfaces
- Develop and optimize V4L2 / media controller drivers
- Integrate camera pipeline with ISP and multimedia frameworks
- Perform low-level debugging using kernel logs, I2C tools,
- Optimize performance, latency, and image pipeline stability
- Support BSP customization, Yocto builds, and system integration
Required Expertise
- Strong experience in C programming and Linux kernel / driver development
- Proven track record in camera sensor integration and debugging
- Experience with MIPI CSI-2 camera interfaces
- Experience with Yocto / Embedded Linux build systems
- Familiarity with bootloader, device tree, and BSP layers
- Strong debugging skills across hardware and software boundaries
Profile we are looking for
- Min 5+ years of experience in Camera BSP / Embedded Linux
- Ability to work independently and deliver in fast-paced environments
- Experience in customer-facing or consulting roles preferred
