About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Avionics Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in RF systems, avionics software development, and airborne navigation/surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will lead software development activities for safety-critical avionics applications and collaborate closely with Hardware and FPGA teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Embedded Software Engineering experience in Aerospace or Defense.
• Strong programming experience in:
• C
• C++
• Assembly Language
• Hands-on experience with:
• DO-178C
• DAL A Software Development
• DO-160G (EMI/EMC)
• Software Requirements Development
• Code Reviews and Verification Activities
• Strong understanding of:
• Software Architecture
• Design Patterns
• Configuration Management
• Version Control Systems
• CI/CD Pipelines
• Experience with Avionics systems including:
• TCAS
• ADS-B
• Transponder
• DME
• UAT
• Experience working with Hardware and FPGA integration.
• Experience creating Planning Documents and Certification Documentation.
• Flight Test experience and aircraft integration knowledge preferred.
• Defense industry experience highly preferred.
