Overview:
SVP, Embedded Banking Partnerships is responsible for leading the development and commercialization of the bank’s Embedded Banking ecosystem. This role will identify and secure strategic partnerships with vertical software providers (VSPs), design differentiated embedded banking solutions, and drive revenue growth through successful client activation.
The role operates at the intersection of partnerships, product strategy, and revenue generation, requiring strong external market engagement and internal cross-functional leadership.
Primary Responsibilities:
Success Metrics
- Number of VSP partnerships signed and integrated
- Strength and conversion of partnership pipeline
- Revenue generated from embedded banking solutions
- Client activation and adoption rates
- Progress against strategic vertical penetration
Solution Design
- Co-develop embedded banking solutions with VSPs that deliver value for the bank, partner, and end clients
- Define commercial models, pricing structures, and partnership frameworks
- Ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with platform capabilities
Education and Experience Required:
- 12+ years of experience in financial services, fintech, embedded finance, or platform partnerships
- Proven track record of building and scaling strategic partnerships or ecosystems
- Experience structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements
- Demonstrated ability to influence product strategy and roadmaps
Education and Experience Preferred:
- Experience working with vertical software providers (VSPs) / ISVs
- Knowledge of embedded banking / Banking-as-a-Service models
