The Role
As a Robotics Software Engineer, you will write, test, and ship code to robots working on live projects in the field. As a core member of the team, you will help define the era of autonomous construction.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement software for robotic manipulation, navigation, and path planning systems

Contribute to the full software stack, from low-level motor control and sensor integration up to high-level application logic

Ensure the safety and reliability of mission-critical systems through rigorous testing and adherence to engineering best practices

Collaborate with the hardware team to bring up new systems and troubleshoot issues

Travel to customer projects for on-site testing and deployment of robotic equipment in the field

Maintain code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and documentation
Requirements

2+ years of professional engineering experience

Excellent C++, Python, and Linux development skills

Strong fundamentals in algorithms, software architecture, planning, and execution

Excellent communication and project management skills

Thrive in fast-paced environments and push boundaries to meet deadlines

Bonus

5+ years of professional software engineering experience

Advanced degree in robotics or a related field

Experience developing with ROS 2 and associated packages (Nav2, MoveIt)

Experience in robotics simulation packages (e.g., Gazebo, Isaac Sim)
