Robotics Software Developer

Skana Robotics is looking for a Robotics Software Developer to join our growing team.

We build autonomous surface and underwater vehicles, combining robotics software, mission planning, and real-world operational experience.

What you'll do

• Develop core robotics software for autonomous surface and underwater vehicles
• Work on autonomy logic, mission planning, control, and simulation systems
• Collaborate closely with hardware, autonomy, and operations teams
• Help shape system architecture, tools, and development practices
• Take part in the full lifecycle, from concept and simulation to sea trials

What we're looking for

• Proven software developer with strong technical foundations
• Hands-on experience and genuine passion for robotics and complex systems
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, multidisciplinary environment
• System-level thinking and a practical, problem-solving mindset

Tech Stack and Domains

• Languages & frameworks: Python, C++, ROS2
• Autonomy platforms: PX4 / ArduPilot
• Infrastructure: Linux, Docker
• Core domains:
• Real-time and embedded systems
• Robot motion planning
• Perception and sensor integration
• Distributed autonomy, communications, and mission planning
