OVERVIEW:
The Sensors and Robotics Team at Aramco’s Houston Research Center creates disruptive technologies to advance discovery of resources, recovery from the subsurface, and operational efficiency. We’re looking for a creative, hands-on problem solver who plays well with others, likes to tackle big challenges, and takes responsibility for delivering results. Our interests include developing sensors and robotic systems for automating our Upstream operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and deploy robotics and automation systems for use in O&G facilities and in downhole application

sApply physics-based models to understand and process data collected from sensors and robot

sCollect and analyze lab data and field data to debug systems and evaluate their performanc

eManage engineering projects to ensure high quality results and timely delivery on commitment

sProvide technical insights and experienced guidance to help other people in the team do their best work and deliver great result

sPublish results in peer-reviewed journals and conferences; support drafting of patent application

sMust have strong hands on experience that can lead to rapid prototype designing, development, and assembly
