Job Summary
We are seeking a
Manufacturing Engineer – Robotic Welding
to support and optimize robotic welding operations in a fast-paced OEM manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on manufacturing engineering role focused on robotic welding automation, process improvement, and production optimization—not product design.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience programming
ABB and FANUC
robotic welding systems, developing welding parameters, troubleshooting weld quality issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Must-Have Skills

3–7+ years of Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or Welding Engineering experience

Hands-on experience programming

Robotic welding process development and optimization

Program and optimize ABB and FANUC robotic welding systems.

Develop, validate, and optimize welding parameters.

Troubleshoot robotic welding issues including:

Porosity

Spatter

Distortion

Lack of Fusion

Fit-Up Issues

Improve manufacturing efficiency and cycle times.

Support new product introductions and fixture development.

Create process documentation and standardized work instructions.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Operations teams.

Support the implementation of new robotic automation equipment.

Train production personnel on robotic welding processes.
