Robotics Engineer jobs in Brasília on Rex.zone focus on designing, building, and deploying robotic systems that integrate perception, planning, and control into reliable real-world automation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve robot autonomy, simulation-to-real transfer, and system performance across mobile robots, manipulators, and industrial automation stacks.
Key Responsibilities
-
Design and implement ROS2 nodes, message interfaces, and lifecycle-managed components
-
Build and tune motion planning pipelines (trajectory generation, obstacle avoidance, navigation)
-
Improve localization, mapping, and navigation stacks (SLAM, EKF/UKF fusion, Nav2 configurations)
-
Integrate sensors (camera/IMU/LiDAR/encoders) with reliable timestamping and calibration
-
Develop simulation environments and test harnesses (Gazebo/Ignition) for simulation-to-real transfer
-
Optimize real-time performance through profiling, latency reduction, and robust logging
-
Create CI-friendly tests (unit/integration/HIL when available) and clear documentation
Required Qualifications
-
Mid-Senior experience building robotics systems in production or advanced prototypes
-
Strong C++ and Python experience for robotics software development
-
Hands-on ROS/ROS2 experience (TF, URDF/Xacro, rosbag, distributed debugging)
-
Knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, control systems, and motion planning fundamentals
