Robotics Engineer (Remote, Full-Time) — Robotics Jobs Guadalajara
Rex.zone connects mid-senior robotics engineers with technology teams building autonomous and intelligent automation systems. You will design, simulate, test, and deploy robot software across perception, localization, navigation, and controls in a remote-first environment.
What You Will Do

Design, implement, and debug robotics software modules using ROS/ROS2, C++, and Python

Develop motion planning and navigation behaviors (trajectory generation, collision checking, path following)

Build SLAM and localization components and tune parameters for real-world robustness

Integrate sensors (LiDAR, RGB-D, IMU, encoders) and implement sensor fusion for stable state estimation

Create simulation and test workflows (Gazebo/Ignition, hardware-in-the-loop) to validate changes before deployment

Define acceptance criteria and run QA validation for safety constraints, reliability targets, and defect reduction

Collaborate cross-functionally with embedded, mechanical, and systems engineering teams

Document architectures, interfaces, and runbooks to improve maintainability and on-call readiness
Required Qualifications

Mid-senior experience delivering robotics/autonomous systems in production or advanced prototypes

Strong C++ and Python skills with Linux development proficiency

Hands-on ROS/ROS2 experience (nodes, topics, services, TF, bagging workflows)

Background in at least two: SLAM, motion planning, controls, perception, sensor fusion

Comfort with unit/integration testing, CI, and regression tracking

Ability to work effectively in remote, distributed teams with strong written communication
Compensation
Competitive hourly base pay:
$30–$50/hr
(USD).
Remote role aligned to Guadalajara search intent; job metadata country remains US per posting defaults.
