Robotics Jobs León (Remote, Full-Time)
Join Rex.zone as a Robotics Engineer focused on building reliable robot software for real deployments. You will work across perception, SLAM/localization, motion planning, control, sensor integration, and simulation-to-real validation to improve autonomy performance and safety-aware behavior.
Key Responsibilities
-
Build and maintain ROS2 packages, nodes, launch files, and robot bring-up
-
Implement perception modules using computer vision and sensor fusion (camera/LiDAR/IMU)
-
Develop SLAM/localization pipelines for mapping and pose estimation
-
Implement motion planning and control loops for mobile robots and/or manipulators
-
Improve Gazebo simulation workflows and support sim-to-real testing
-
Write tests, perform log-based debugging, and create data collection/analysis tools
-
Collaborate on integration, calibration, synchronization, and performance tuning
-
Document architecture, interfaces, and operational runbooks for deployment
Required Qualifications
-
Mid-senior experience shipping robotics software or advanced prototypes
-
Strong C++ and Python skills
-
ROS2 and Linux experience with robotics middleware patterns
-
Knowledge of SLAM, state estimation, or localization
-
Familiarity with motion planning, trajectory generation, and control systems
-
Ability to troubleshoot complex robot behaviors using logs, metrics, and experiments
Preferred Qualifications
-
Nav2, MoveIt, Behavior Trees, or autonomy frameworks
-
OpenCV and 3D perception experience
-
Performance optimization (e.g., real-time constraints, CUDA exposure)
-
Safety-aware autonomy, redundancy, and fault handling
Compensation
Hourly base pay range: $30–$50 (USD), depending on experience and demonstrated robotics delivery.
