Job Description

Robotics Jobs Cali (Remote, US)

As a Robotics Engineer, you will build and validate real-world robot autonomy features end to end across perception, SLAM/localization, motion planning, and controls. This role is explicitly Remote in the US and integrates robotics engineering with AI/ML workflows such as dataset curation, data labeling, and structured model evaluation.

What You Will Do

  • Design and implement robot software modules using ROS/ROS2 (nodes, tooling, and distributed workflows)
  • Build perception pipelines (computer vision, sensor fusion) and integrate sensors (camera, LiDAR, IMU)
  • Develop SLAM/localization, calibration, coordinate-frame reasoning, and on-robot debugging workflows
  • Implement motion planning, path planning, and control components; track regressions with reliable tests
  • Run simulation-to-real validation using tools such as Gazebo and Isaac Sim
  • Support AI/ML operations: dataset curation, training data quality audits, annotation guidelines compliance, and QA evaluation
  • Perform error analysis, edge-case discovery, and model performance improvement via structured evaluation
  • Contribute to prompt evaluation / LLM evaluation and RLHF-style feedback loops when applicable to robot copilots

Required Qualifications

  • Mid-senior experience delivering robotics features to real systems
  • Strong Python and C++ skills; comfortable in Linux development environments
  • Hands-on ROS/ROS2 experience, sensor integration, and debugging distributed robot software
  • Solid fundamentals in SLAM, perception, motion planning, and controls
  • Ability to collaborate across engineering, data operations, and evaluation teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Simulation experience (Gazebo, Isaac Sim), embedded constraints, or hardware bring-up
  • Familiarity with labeling platforms, CV annotation (bounding boxes/segmentation/keypoints), and QA evaluation protocols
  • Exposure to LLM training pipelines, prompt evaluation, RLHF, or content safety labeling

Compensation

Hourly pay range: $30–$50/hr (based on scope, experience, and interview outcomes).

How To Apply
