About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Robotics Engineer to join an innovative engineering team supporting advanced robotics research and development projects.
Responsibilities

Set up, configure, operate, and troubleshoot collaborative robotic arms (e.g., Universal Robots).

Develop, modify, and debug Python scripts for automation, experimental control, and data logging.

Support robotics experiments by integrating mechanical, electrical, and software components.

Design, build, and validate prototypes using 3D printing, hand tools, and basic soldering techniques.

Read and interpret CAD models and engineering drawings to perform precise mechanical assembly and modifications.

Execute system testing, collect experimental data, and document results.

Troubleshoot electromechanical systems and identify root causes of hardware and software issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve robotic systems and workflows.

Maintain lab equipment, robotic platforms, and testing environments while following safety standards.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Robotics, or a related engineering discipline.
Required Skills
-
Hands-on experience with collaborative robotic arms such as Universal Robots (UR).

Strong proficiency in Python programming for automation, scripting, and debugging.

Experience with rapid prototyping tools, including 3D printers, hand tools, and basic soldering.

Ability to read and interpret CAD models using SolidWorks, Siemens NX, or similar CAD software.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills

Experience working in an electromechanical R&D laboratory.

Knowledge of robotics integration, sensors, actuators, and motion control systems.

Familiarity with robotics testing methodologies and data analysis.

Experience supporting prototype development from concept through validation.

Exposure to Linux environments and version control tools is a plus.
