At Kshatra Labs, we are engineering the next generation of defense robotics. We build high-performance, autonomous systems designed to operate at the absolute edge of physical and computational limits.

We are expanding our core team and looking for builders who thrive on solving zero-margin-for-error engineering problems.


We are currently hiring for:

Robotics Engineer (Autonomy)

You will own the "eyes, brain, and muscles" of our platforms. Whether it is a high-speed aerial interceptor, a tactical UGV, or a highly articulated humanoid, your mandate is to develop the intelligence that allows our machines to perceive, react, and maneuver through complex, contested environments with absolute precision.


What we are looking for:


  • Deep expertise in modern C++ and Python, with a strong background building and deploying within ROS2-DDS architectures.
  • Proven experience in state estimation, SLAM, and sensor fusion (seamlessly integrating optical, radar, and LiDAR feeds across diverse environments).
  • A rigorous foundation in advanced control theory, real-time path planning, and robust kinematic tracking (prioritizing deterministic, physics-based execution over purely theoretical models).
  • Hands-on experience building heavy perception and control pipelines for edge compute and bridging them with low-level flight or ground controllers.
  • The ability to generalize autonomy architectures building core logic that can scale from an agile aerial drone to a heavy ground vehicle.

  • Sensor fusion (wide range of sensors), edge compute, OS, Networking, SLAM, controls, ROS2, C++/Python, Rust (good to have), strong linux fundamentals, computer vision, sensing (LIDAR, EO/IR) experience preferred
